pasaulinis laikas statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis Grinvičo dienovidinio, einančio per senąją Grinvičo observatoriją, vidutinis Saulės laikas. Skiriasi ne daugiau, kaip 0,9 s nuo tikslesniuose matavimuose naudojamo ↑suderintojo pasaulinio laiko. Todėl ten, kur šio tikslumo pakanka, vietoj suderintojo pasaulinio laiko galima vartoti trumpesnį terminą pasaulinis laikas ir santrumpą UTC versti pasauliniu laiku. Vasarą ir žiemą vienodas, t. y. pavasarį ir rudenį laikrodžio rodyklė nepasukama. Pagal jį nustatomi juostiniai laikai. Dar vartojama Grinvičo laikas. atitikmenys: angl. GMT; universal time; UTC ryšiai: dar žiūrėk – laiko juosta dar žiūrėk – suderintasis pasaulinis laikas
